3D pattern a new fashion trend
Is it possible to increase a mega-trend? Yes, you can. The designers have consistently developed the pattern trend on the catwalks of the past Fashion Weeks. As a result prints are not simply flattened and spread over fabrics, but are transformed into three-dimensional surfaces – but only visually.
What looks like it is quilted, plaited or sculpted is in fact only printed. The magic word with which the designers lure us to the wrong fashion is called optical illusion.
Whether spring, summer, autumn or winter – floral prints have become indispensable in fashion. Only the shape changes, from delicate Millefleurs pattern (in spring) over exotics such as hibiscus flowers in summer, forest and meadow flowers in muted colors in autumn to large-scale winter flower patterns. New is the 3D effect, because the flowers sprout us now almost in the form of fabric or sequin applications.
And it goes even further: In the meantime, there are already textiles from the 3D printer that cannot be produced using standard weaving techniques and are especially regarded as a new inspiration for many fashion designers. And while on the one hand the scientist’s dream of printed organs; the three-dimensional printing on the other hand inspires the imagination of designers and creative. The world will change more than ever with the new printers, and that’s already settled.
